FINANCIAL ANALYST, FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ROTATION PROGRAM

Developing a well-rounded insight into the financial aspects of our operations as well as our corporate finance functions, the Financial Rotation program at NVR offers you a unique opportunity to experience many key facets of our business. Along with expanding your skills, you will leverage your advanced education to help determine where to establish yourself in the big picture, and how to effect positive change.

Responsibilities:

Assist senior management by providing value-added financial analyses that help determine the direction of operational decision making and planning
Recommend process improvement projects across operational areas, including policies and procedures
Perform operation audits of homebuilding, mortgage banking and manufacturing facilities
Assist with and prepare yearly and long-range business plans

Topics covered in the 18-24 month Rotation Program at our Corporate Headquarters include:

Business Planning
Internal Auditing
Mortgage Banking
Homebuilding Operations
Treasury/Cash Management
Tax

Upon completion of this program, candidates are promoted to Financial Analyst positions within homebuilding operations in a variety of geographic locations.

Qualifications:

BA/BS in an Accounting or Finance related field
MBA with 3+ years of business experience in financial analysis, planning or economic analysis
Or CPA coupled with 3+ years of public accounting experience at a national firm
Strong working knowledge of spreadsheet software
Large manufacturing or real estate experience is a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strategic thinking and persuasive skills required
