ACCOUNTING OPERATIONAL AUDITOR

Opportunities as an auditor that leverage more than your accounting skills are rare… and highly valued. Working with NVR as an Accounting Operational Auditor will maximize the full range of your accounting and analytical skills as you execute a wide array of accounting and finance functions. You will also have the additional benefit of showcasing and developing your critical thinking skills, communication skills, and your ability to make a direct contribution to NVR's success.

Responsibilities:

Perform audits at all of NVR's operations to test the efficiency/effectiveness of the location's internal controls while traveling 20-25 percent of the time
Propose policy recommendations and internal controls to senior management
Prepare formal audit reports for submittal to operations managers and corporate senior management

Based upon your performance and ambitions, this position generally leads into a Financial Analyst role in our Financial Management Rotation Program.

Qualifications:

BA/BS in an Accounting or Finance related field
Public Accounting experience is preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience in reviewing findings with senior management is a plus
